BLS for Healthcare Providers
The American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers course is designed to teach healthcare professionals the skills of one- and two-rescuer CPR for victims of all ages, use of an automated external defibrillator (AED) and relief of choking. (2 year certification awarded on successful completion of skills and written test)
CPR/AED for Adult, Child, and Infant
The American Heart Association (AHA) Heartsaver® CPR AED course is designed to teach students CPR, use of an AED and relief of choking. Instruction is given on recognition of life threatening emergencies and basic CPR techniques. It is available to anyone desiring, or required, to obtain the knowledge and skills taught at this level. (2 year certification awarded upon successful completion)
First Aid
The American Heart Association (AHA) Heartsaver® First Aid course is designed to teach students the general principles of adult first aid, medical emergencies, injury emergencies and environmental emergencies. (2 year certification upon successful completion) This course can be combined with Heartsaver CPR.
Child and Babysitter Safety Course
This interactive babysitter course teaches young teens life and safety skills to keep them safe now and in the future. It equips them with the tools needed to stay home alone safely and with confidence or to stay with younger children. A certificate will be issued upon successful completion of this course.
